Went for the 2nd round of my Kuala Kubu Bharu water rafting trip few weeks back. It was quite a fast one with just less than 3 weeks of asking around and getting people. Managed around 10 people this time which was a nice number for a good 2 raft. Just the right number.
I've went to Kuala Kubu Bharu last October and the water levels were low. It was fun still. However this time the water levels were awesome. For those who didn't go for it this time, they've all just missed one hell of a ride. The 1st Canyon and 3rd Canyons became so much more different from the last time I went. Has can attest to this too as she was with the group that went in October '08. One word sums it all up. Awesome. This trip made me sign up mentally straight away for Sg. Singor when the next one comes around - it was unfortunate that the May '09 trip to singor was full. End of the year will be water rafting and camping at NEPAL if Rizal manages to get it going in September or October. I've practically signed up verbally for it.
Anyway although i didnt get to go Sg. Singor this year, I've managed to sign up for Mount Kinabalu this June. All thanks and hats off to RJ for letting me in on his group due to a pull-out.
Hope I'm lucky and the weather would be a good one for a climb all the way up to the top. Now I just have to scavenge and borrow for winter clothing. Anyone can spare please let me know :)
Just paid for the flight tickets to KK and now the only thing left is to submit my leave applications on Monday.
